Customer needed period correct AirShoxs for a 76 CR125M Show Bike, bodies were lightly blasted and powder coated.

About to examine the internals of this reproduction Vintco Air Shock for a potential customer. Externally, the specs are right on, quality of machining is excellent, there are very slight differences in the machining of the end caps from the original. Unless you work with these everyday, you would not notice it. The colorization of the body is a dark gold which occurs naturally when hard anodizing certain types of aircraft grade aluminum. Awaiting confirmation of this from Vintco Rep. If true, they are offering a better body than the original. If the inside passes my inspection, this set will be revalved to fit the customer, custom Reducer Bushings for mounts, FAS stickers, and charged to suit his bike, riding level, and weight.

The Vintco's are near perfect reproductions. Internally they are spot on. Every part and port measured perfect. Every internal part matched my NOS parts and could be interchanged. Externally there is the color of the body, it's due to a higher quality of aircraft aluminum being used. There are minor machining differences of beveling of the mounts.

If you want a set of Air Shocks that perform like the original AirShox, this reproduction will do the job.
The bodies are 7050 T76, highly rated by our Navy for it's corrosion and stress resistance.
This is a plus and a better grade than the original, I have seen internal corrosion in old shocks that sat for years.
You can order box stock, uncharged shocks straight from Vintco.com.
They come with 8 and 10mm bronze sleeve bushings with no outer flange, so you will have to add washers as no bike mount is 15.5mm. Honda's are narrowest at 19mm,
Fox made very thin flange reducers that came out to 18mm, I carry reducers to fit from 19 to 24mm.
